Available: Full-time Position Description: In this full-time position the Web Developer/Designer will design & code new Church of the King websites and content, and maintain & update code and content on existing sites. The Web Developer/Designer will manage volunteers for the web department and will assist other departments in managing content on their websites. The Web Developer/Designer will work with other departments to promote their events and ministries by creating new pages or websites that match their branding while maintaining Church of the King’s quality and brand. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be very conscientious and self-motivated, have several years of experience in website development and design, writing website content, meeting with clients, and managing volunteers. The ideal candidates will also be fluent in HTML, CSS, JSON, Javascript, and PHP, and will have experience using Adobe applications, specifically Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Media Encoder, and Audition. Available: Part-time Position Description: This part-time position is responsible for the general oversight of the King’s Kids Special Needs Ministry at Church of the King. The King’s Kids Special Needs Coordinator is responsible for the appropriate adaptation of the Bible lessons and activities for our special needs students/adults and the on-going coordination of a fun, safe, and effective program. The King’s Kids Special Needs Coordinator will also oversee, build, and schedule a qualified team to serve in the special needs classroom during weekend services and special events at the Little Creek Campus. As the lead of the special needs ministry, the King’s Kids Special Needs Coordinator would also be the point person, as central support, to all Church of the King campuses for questions, guidance, and overall special needs ministry needs. Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have prior experience in working with children and adults who have special needs. Effective communication and leadership skills, along with the ease and enjoyment of team building are required. Candidates that share a passion about sharing the love of Jesus through Reaching People and Building Lives is required. Bachelors degree with a focus on Special Needs Education is preferred. Available: Part-time Position Description: This part-time Mother’s Day Out Aftercare position is a great opportunity to engage, connect, and assist in a daycare, classroom setting with newborn to four-year-old children by implementing Bible-based, age-appropriate activities and learning that encourages children to have fun while growing in their faith. Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating a fun and safe environment for the children, classroom management, and efficient completion of daily classroom cleaning procedures. Work hours are Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 5:30pm. Qualifications: Candidates must be a member of Church of the King, a regular attender of weekend service, and have previous experience as a daycare worker, or have worked directly with children for 2 years or more. An ideal candidate would have a passion for working with children, excellent communication and instructional skills, is familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for the classroom, and is a team-player who is eager to help meet the needs of the children and classroom. Available: Full-time Position Description: This full-time position assists in maintaining excellent financial stewardship by collecting, verifying and reporting the financial information of the organization under the direction of the Accounting Director. The person in this position will handle confidential data and information and will be required to use considerable judgment, tact and people skills to be effective. He/She may enter data, analyze data, reconcile bank accounts, reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, assist with month end closing and financial reporting, prepare schedules for the annual financial audit as well as any other tasks assigned by the Accounting Director. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and accrual-based accounting. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required and a minimum of five years financial accounting experience is preferred. Available: Full-time Position Description: This full-time position’s primary location is at our Little Creek Campus but will support all Church of the King’s Campuses. The I.T. Coordinator will supply onsite technological support through installation, configuration, maintenance, and proper utilization of Church of the King owned technological devices such as laptops, network communication devices, audio/video conferencing equipment, printers, software applications, and all associated components, peripherals, and media. In conjunction, the I.T. Coordinator II will oversee the support and continued care of inner-office I.T. functions such as organizational email, servers, phone extensions, and printer settings. Qualifications: Prefer candidates who enjoy planning, executing, and controlling multiple complex activities simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of internal customer service. Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills under pressure, great attention to detail, and effective communication through follow up and the completion of work through a ticketing system is required. Network Plus and Cisco Certification and the ability to implement multi-site solutions is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to climb a ladder and work in small confined spaces along with bending, stooping, and lifting of equipment, boxes or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 3 years of professional experience in an I.T. field in lieu of degree, or 6 years of professional experience in an I.T. field in lieu of degree. Available: Part-time Position Location: Little Creek Campus School Year: August 2019 – May 2020 Description: This part-time adjunct contract position will serve as the professor/instructor for a single, seven-week term Oral Communications class through LEAD Collegesm. The Oral Communications Instructor would oversee and educate students twice per week on basic communication, designed to develop each student's ability to communicate effectively in his or her academic, business, and social life. The Oral Communications instructor will bring emphasis is on the preparation and delivery of formal speeches, while also helping students discover many areas of the communication process used in every-day life. Qualifications: Candidates must be friendly, reliable, self-motivated, adaptable and confident to manage a classroom/learning experience for college-aged students. In addition, it is important that candidates have exceptional verbal communication skills through expressing ideas and teaching material effectively. As a LEAD Collegesm requirement, we require all candidates to be a member of Church of the King, a regular attender of weekend services, and complete the Church of the King Growth Track. Educational Requirements: A Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 hours of master-level credits in Public Communications is required.
